However, because I do not know those specifications, I think I would rather hire Avery. I think it is more common than not to find consistent employees like Jamie who show up to work every day giving the same amount of effort. That being said, I believe that going with the least common candidate such as Avery who gives exceptional work is best because they are harder to seek out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Describe a type of job where it would be better to hire someone like Avery (i.e., high potential, poor consistency) than Jaime? What is it about that job that makes someone like Avery more valuable than Jaime?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A job where it would be better to hire someone like Avery would be jobs that involve innovation, creative thinking\/problem-solving, or decision-making. In these types of jobs, consistency can be looked over in some regard if their moments of brilliance shine when it is needed. For example, positions in research and development, project management, or even leadership roles where innovative thinking and navigating uncertainty are vital. These positions would be ideal for someone like Avery.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Describe a type of job where it would be better to hire someone like Jaime (i.e., low potential, high consistency) than Avery? What is it about that job that makes someone like Jaime more valuable?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A job where it would be better to hire someone like Jamie would be jobs that involve reliability. Some jobs that require employees to follow strict protocols and procedures, routine tasks, or repetitive skills are needed every day would be better suited for someone like Jamie who delivers steady and dependable results. These positions would include quality control, customer service, or administration roles.
