When I go into an interview, I always dress in formal business attire no matter what the job is. I think this allows for companies to see how serious I am about wanting the job and the effort I made to make a good first impression. I think when talking with potential employers they quickly begin to realize my “brand” is defined as being a dynamic problem solver with a flair for innovation. My strengths lie in communication, organizational skills, and a passion for continuous learning. However, that’s not to say I am perfect. My weaknesses include my lack of confidence when learning something new. I usually need someone looking over my shoulder at least 3 times while doing a task before I feel like I can accomplish it on my own. This weakness can lead to hesitation in decision-making or expressing my ideas. I want everything I do to be the most perfect that it can be and sometimes I second guess myself. I think what really sets me apart from others is that I try my best to make everyone feels welcome. I have always strived to find commonalities with people not only to just be nice but I love making sure everyone feels like their opinion matters. In doing so, I have met some incredible people in my life who think way differently than I do and yet we can still get an immense amount of work done because of our agreed level of respect.

2. Visibility strategy:

I think I would post this somewhere like Handshake or possibly in an email to recruiting firms to let them know a little bit more about me thorough my writing style. Sometimes I think job postings can be a bit boring and lack the exciting feeling of wanting to apply for a job. I also think I could potentially print this out and staple it to my resume. This would make me stand out even more and really show how pumped I am about finding the right fit for me and the company.

I would say the first impression that I present to potential employers is my bubbly personality tied with professionalism.
