Why?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/asap.moonfruit.com\/communities\/8\/004\/013\/141\/928\/\/images\/4623949606.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1265\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/glencora\/files\/2016\/05\/4623949606.jpg\" alt=\"4623949606\" width=\"400\" height=\"308\" srcset=\"https:\/\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/1080\/files\/2016\/05\/4623949606.jpg 720w, https:\/\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/1080\/files\/2016\/05\/4623949606-300x231.jpg 300w, https:\/\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/1080\/files\/2016\/05\/4623949606-400x308.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a>In fall 2015, a student group, <a href=\"http:\/\/asap.moonfruit.com\/home\/4589573670\">Allied Students for Another Politics (ASAP!)<\/a>, on campus organized a series of five panels called &#8220;Radical Visions Towards Another Politics&#8221;:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Revolutionary Unions and the Abolition of Wage Slavery<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;We Won&#8217;t Pay!&#8221;: How Debtors&#8217; Unions and Strikes Can Lead the Fight for Tuition-Free Education<\/li>\n<li>Racism, Capitalism, and the Prison Industrial Complex<\/li>\n<li>From Baltimore to Palestine: Israeli Apartheid and the New Jim Crow<\/li>\n<li>The Burdens of of Climate Change and Economic Growth: Visions for Social and Environmental Transformation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With the support of the School of History, Philosophy and Religion, the panels were all taped and promoted on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/OSUSHPR\">OSU School of History, Philosophy and Religion YouTube page<\/a>.
