My name is Sudip Gautam. I’m a Ph.D. student in Civil Engineering (specialization: Water Resources Engineering) at Oregon State University. Apart from my Ph.D., I’m also pursuing graduate certificates in “Water Conflict Management & Transformation” and “Geographic Information Science”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have a Master’s degree in Agricultural & Biological Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Ph.D. research looks into the spatial and temporal variability of drought in the Umatilla River Basin in Oregon and aims to understand the resilience of the stakeholders to climate-change-induced drought in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, I’m a graduate teaching assistant for the course CE 311 – Fluid Mechanics at OSU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
