It really is hard to believe that two years passed by so fast. I started the program with a rudimentary knowledge of CS and after learning so much I definitely know and understand more but there is still so much out there.While&hellip; <\/p><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is really it, the final class that will end my OSU journey. It really is hard to believe that two years passed by so fast. I started the program with a rudimentary knowledge of CS and after learning so much I definitely know and understand more but there is still so much out there.<\/p>\n<p>While looking through the projects that we could chose for the capstone I finally got my first taste if imposter syndrome. Most of the projects had technologies that I had never used like AI, machine learning, VR and it made me feel like I had taken the wrong electives or didn\u2019t apply myself enough in some way. After selecting the projects that interested me I took a step back and laughed at myself for feeling that way. I realized that these projects are designed to be that way so that we take the time to learn these technologies while working on the project. So if anyone else felt daunted by the projects or down that you didn\u2019t know enough to do a certain project you not alone there. I still find it a bit annoying that we have to learn so much new tech for certain very cool sounding projects though, really wishing I bought a VR rig before this class now.<\/p>\n<p>Though we have yet to start on the projects or get our assigned teams I find myself really looking forward to working on anyone of the projects I chose. Gone is the feeling of imposter syndrome that I felt before, in its place sits the excitement I feel when I get to learn and experience new things.
