When properly maintained, oak habitats can lower the risk of fire in an area from high to low intensity because the vegetation is more spread out and there are fewer opportunities for fires on the ground to move into the canopy. This page will offer resources for making management decisions and writing plans for the oak habitats on your property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The plan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/oregonstate.box.com\/s\/87f8qefimu4innspdtg7st7vor53advf\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Landscape Scale Management Plan \u2013 for the oak forests, woodlands and savannas of the South Willamette Valley<\/mark><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This document is a partially completed and fillable management plan template for properties wishing to participate in a coordinated landscape scale restoration effort for the oak forests, woodlands, and savannas of the south Willamette Valley.
