Following the introductory field trip, plenary sessions, and small-group topical discussions, participants were given the opportunity to collaborate on papers emerging from these discussions.&nbsp; One paper \u201cConceptualizing Floodplains,\u201d which focused on summarizing the expected magnitude and duration of sediment storage on floodplains based on case studies presented in the existing literature, has already been published.
