Question 1: How is the journey so far?

Our project seems to be going along well. We initially created our project plan with the conversational AI tools, and once we started development we realized that the plan was overly ambitious and we would not be able to implement everything we originally thought we could. This is primarily due to the fact that because our project includes research on AI tools, we are spending a lot of our time on research documentation. So, we decided to design our Escape Room similar to an arcade game where users can start the game, play the game and then view the leaderboard when they finish. Thus, we removed features like allowing users to create profile.

Question 2: What communication tools is your team using, and how well is this going?

We are currently using Discord as our main communication tool. This is going well since it is asynchronous and responses are usually made within 24 hours. We not only use the text channel, but we also carry out our sprint planning using the voice channel where we can talk and share our screens.

Question 3: What Project Management tools is your team using, and how well is that going?

We used the conversational AI tools to create the project plan for the assignment but we use GitHub Projects to manage our tasks and sprint planning. I really like using GitHub Projects because I can easily access it from the same place I access the code repo and I appreciate that I don’t have to use a different website or app. It’s very convenient to be able to manage most of our project material from a single source.
