Confluence is a joint research showcase hosted by graduate students in College of Forestry and the Department of Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Sciences. The symposium highlights student research across fisheries, wildlife, forestry, ecology and human dimensions and includes oral and poster presentations, workshops, talks from invited speakers and career networking opportunities. We invite all early-career OSU-affiliated researchers to submit abstracts if you are interested in presenting (preference will be given to graduate and undergraduate students). Conference is on Friday, April 10th | Peavy Forest Science Center<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left font_8\" id=\"current-students\" style=\"font-size:28px\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Current Students<\/mark><\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Current students must stay up to date on their major&#8217;s progression. The average cumulative GPA of those students awarded was 3.54. While scholarships are generally based on academic performance, some are specific to need, degree program, or other criteria set by our donors, so don\u2019t hesitate to apply.\u00a0 New and current students <strong>who have been admitted to OSU or are currently enrolled<\/strong> in the College of Forestry are eligible to apply for College of Forestry scholarships. Students who need computing access and a reliable study space can utilize the FERN Center Computing Lab daily. As a reminder, the computing lab in the FERN Center is a <em>quiet study space<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Student staff members are available to assist you if you would like to check out course reserve materials and\/or books from the Dean&#8217;s Lending Library. We also have a supply of magnifying glasses, chain and board kits, compasses, light therapy lamps, webcams, phone chargers, headphones, and much more. Stop by to see what is available! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FERN Center hours are Monday &#8211; Friday, 9:00 am &#8211; 5:00 pm.
