John has recently joined OSU’s Fire Program, bringing experience from Oregon, Colorado, and New Mexico as a ranch and forestry manager, small acreage Extension specialist, landowner association representative, consulting forester, and state forest service forester. He holds degrees in natural resources and forestry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Willy has over 40 years of wildfire experience as a Fire Management Officer (Whitman Ranger District), hotshot crew superindentendent, and hotshot. He has a passion for firefighter safety and protection of life and property. In his current role he brings agencies together in NE OR and SE WA to foster implementation of the Cohesive Wildfire Strategy. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
