For example, some of my favorite companies are Dakine and Burton, for all the great winter and summer outdoor gear I have been using for years now. If I were to come across an article where I read about one of these companies discriminating against something I believe in, I would definitely be super disappointed. These companies have great mission statements and are great reputable companies, so I would also be super surprised if something like this happened. I am not sure if I would continue supporting the companies if something like this happened. I would want to see the final outcome of the public lawsuit and see some responding words from the company about the matter before I decide to abandon the company or not. They provide really great products for all of the outdoor hobbies I am into, so it would be super hard for me to abandon buying their products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, this would definitely affect whether or not I would apply for a position at the company. I really want to work for a company with great company culture and a great reputation that aligns with my beliefs, so I would feel confident in my decision to not work for a company that has a public lawsuit like this.
