Blog Post: Experiences with Discrimination

In my opinion, the standout proposition that actually changes my view of the company was told: an employee’s ability to do his job is a necessary condition for managers to make hiring decisions for him, and another employee’s success in taking on leadership responsibilities is The necessary conditions for deciding to give him a promotion opportunity, usually, when we talk about its discrimination, our behavior is influenced by the stereotype of some group or individual. Unfair discrimination often occurs when we assume that everyone in a group is the same, i.e. we do not see individual differences. Such discriminatory views often cause great harm to the company itself and to the employees in the company. The company could not find any regulations for him in the official policy. However, every company has many employees who discriminate against him, and many more are unknown. Discriminatory behaviors occur frequently, including rude treatment or exclusion of those who are discriminated against.
Discrimination takes various forms:

  1. Deterrence: Publicly threaten or challenge employees against a specific group of writers
2, ridicule and insult: digest or negatively stereotype, sometimes ridicule can have serious consequences
  2. Exclusion: Some people are always denied promotion opportunities, unable to participate in social activities, discussions, or informal teaching activities, which may be intentional by others
  3. Rude; disrespectful treatment includes treating someone in an offensive manner, interrupting someone repeatedly, or ignoring their opinion.
Discrimination can take various forms, and its outcomes can vary, depending on differences in the work environment and the personal biases of work members. Discriminatory manifestations such as exclusion and rudeness are very difficult to observe, and may simply be because the person is unaware of the consequences of their actions. Whether these actions are intentional or unintentional, discriminatory behavior can have serious consequences for a company, including reduced production, lower employee behavior, negative conflict, and increased employee turnover. Unfair discrimination can also cause qualified candidates to be overlooked in the initial hiring process or promotion process. There is no law on corporate discrimination in time, but there will still be many employees being discriminated against. Although diversity can bring many opportunities for companies, it is still necessary for companies to implement effective diversity management to overcome unfair discrimination. In fact, the act of “distinguishing” the difference between things is not a bad thing in itself.
In my opinion, none of what I said has risen to the level of racial discrimination. Racial discrimination is the most unacceptable thing to me. Since a company is already a diversified company, why can there still be racial discrimination or Is it the emergence of other cultural discrimination? If I had known in advance that such a thing would happen, I would definitely not have applied for this company to work, because I would have received a lot of unfair treatment. And it will also become very unsmooth at work, giving people a very uncomfortable and stressful place.
