Marketers today are using more and more online advertising with the increase in technology in society. It seems like there are more and more people getting smart phones and being more connected to their online world than every before. I think this is just going to continue because of how we are advancing in technology and how easy it will be to be connected to the internet on the go. On a scale from 1-5 on online advertising being dangerous in todays society i think it is around a 3. Something that i feel is dangerous about it is that websites like google track our every search and then from us browsing the internet there seems to be ads that are exactly what we were searching up. Our privacy is something that marketers need to work on since most of our information can get hacked very easily by a hacker. Something that needs to get more regulated is fake advertisements that their main goal is to trying to scam you and take your money. Another thing that marketers need to work on for clothing brands and other companies that use humans for advertising is marketing an unrealistic body image. Many of the advertisements use men/women that have very uncommon body types and makes the men and women think poorly of theirselves and making them not wanting to buy their product. In the past few years though it has changed for the better of the consumers because many companies are now using many different body types to advertise their products.

- No misleading advertisements
- Do not compromise privacy
- Speak the truth
- Be transparent
- Treating all clients friarly and without bias
- Don’t try to take advantage of the customer
- Be honest about products
Following these code of ethics will help marketers be ethical when they are trying to conduct their advertising strategy.
