My research focuses on small-scale processes, such as turbulent mixing, internal gravity waves, and air-sea-ice interaction. I work with data and process-oriented modeling to explore how the ocean&#8217;s circulation transports heat, freshwater, and nutrients. My research aims to identify how small-scale dynamics and mixing feedback on the larger scale flow and local environment.
