MS students complete 45+ graduate credits including core courses, a methods requirement, your area of concentration, and a thesis or project. PhD and PSM requirements are also detailed in the handbook.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the areas of concentration?<\/strong><br \/>\nESGP offers eight tracks: Biogeochemistry, Ecology, Environmental Education, Natural Resources, Quantitative Analysis, Social Science, Water Resources, and Climate Change. See <a href=\"https:\/\/graduate.oregonstate.edu\/environmental-sciences-graduate-program-esgp\/areas-concentration-tracks-within-environmental\">Areas of Concentration<\/a> for track-specific course requirements and contacts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I register for thesis, reading, project, or internship courses?<\/strong><br \/>\nEmail your name, student ID, course number, and term to <a href=\"mailto:esgp@oregonstate.edu\">esgp@oregonstate.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How long will my degree take?<\/strong><br \/>\nTypically around 2 years for an MS and 4 years for a PhD, though this varies.
