Fellows produce multimedia stories\u2014video, audio, prose, or photography\u2014highlighting the human side of scientific discovery. The fellowship spans at least three terms (Winter, Spring, and Summer), with the option for a fourth. Fellows receive a $3,000 stipend, two credits of AJ 402 per term, and one-on-one mentorship from faculty and media professionals.
