The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/umich-dot-yamm-track.appspot.com\/Redirect?ukey=1UBuPwCKcL4A5aWmgimrpBGbtQeSI1mvL5ffg1_Rm1nU-2038332258&amp;key=YAMMID-82422574&amp;link=https%3A%2F%2Fefp.seas.umich.edu%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Environmental Fellows Program<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;is a nationally competitive summer fellowship program for masters and doctoral students that seeks to place students traditionally underrepresented in the environmental field&nbsp;<strong><em><u>and<\/u><\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;those committed to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in summer fellowships with environmental foundations and their grantees.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Application&nbsp;OPEN&nbsp;NOW!&nbsp; The&nbsp;<strong>deadline<\/strong>&nbsp;to apply is&nbsp;<strong>January 15th, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Environmental Fellows Program involves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A&nbsp;<a>12<\/a>&nbsp;-week fellowship at either an environmental grantmaking foundation or at one of their grantees. Past placement sites include Center on Race, Poverty &amp; the Environment; Appalachian Voices; Natural Resources Defense Council, New England Grassroots Environment Fund, the&nbsp;Erb Family Foundation&nbsp;and many more!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A 4-day spring program orientation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A stipend of $11,000 plus a travel allowance for participating fellows.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participation in the Environmental Grantmakers Association Retreat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Fellows work on a variety of environmental issues including but not limited to environmental health, energy justice, marine conservation, transit solutions, food justice, and more!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Fellowship placement sites are available across the country in major cities and rural locations.
