Researchers at the LANL\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES) Division<\/strong>&nbsp;are interested in collaborating on projects involving:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wildfire science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Geophysics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AI<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Machine learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Environmental science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applied mathematics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multiscale monitoring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Earth systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Those interested in this opportunity should email&nbsp;<strong>Nikki Rak<\/strong>&nbsp;(<a href=\"mailto:Nikki.Rak@oregonstate.edu\"><strong>Nikki.Rak@oregonstate.edu<\/strong><\/a>) and let the College of Science know that they would like to take part.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the email, please include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em><strong>EITHER\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>a single PowerPoint (.pptx) slide describing your research topics that you would like to collaborate on\u00a0<em><strong>OR<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a few paragraphs describing your research topics that you would like to collaborate on<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send this email to Nikki Rak by&nbsp;<strong>10:00am on May 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LANL will be meeting with the Oregon State University <strong>Division of Research and Innovation (DRI)<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 6<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>. At this meeting, Executive Associate Dean\u00a0<strong>Vrushali A. Bokil<\/strong>\u00a0will work alongside other Associate Deans for Research to find potential matches between OSU faculty and LANL researchers.
