The Gender Equity Committee wants to extend an invitation to participate in the National Science Foundation <\/strong>ADVANCE VAuLTS Partnership<\/a><\/strong> spring meeting on May 13-14 in the Memorial Union<\/strong>. This conference is being hosted by the Oregon Sea Grant and will explore the successful strategies of different types of leaders and will include keynote talks and facilitation by Dr. Ann Austin<\/a> (author of Building Gender Equity in the Academy: Institutional Strategies for Change<\/a>) and Dr. Jaime Lester<\/a>.  We will also be hosting a \u201cChange Leaders\u201d panel that showcases the experiences of both grassroots and positional leaders on May 14 from 11-12:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
