{"id":716,"date":"2012-08-15T15:45:49","date_gmt":"2012-08-15T23:45:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/erlenmeyer\/?p=716"},"modified":"2012-08-15T15:45:49","modified_gmt":"2012-08-15T23:45:49","slug":"faculty-industry-partnering-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/erlenmeyer\/2012\/08\/15\/faculty-industry-partnering-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Faculty Industry Partnering Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Faculty Recognition and Awards Committee is now accepting nominations for the inaugural Faculty Industry Partnering Award:<\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Faculty Industry Partnering Award recognizes a faculty member who achieves extraordinarily high impact innovations through research collaborations with industry.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The selection criteria include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>exceptional      engagement in collaborative research with industry<\/li>\n<li>research      leadership recognized nationally and internationally<\/li>\n<li>high      degree of student engagement in industry research efforts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additional information, including nomination procedures, are available online at <a href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/senate\/awards\/nom\/partner\/criteria.html\">http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/senate\/awards\/nom\/partner\/criteria.html<\/a>.\u00a0Nominations are due in the Faculty Senate Office on September 6.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is a new award and the timeline is short to accommodate awarding of a recipient at the 2012 University Day.
