The ORISE participant will receive training in and will focus on: chemical analysis methods for halogen and per\/polyfluoro substances, method development and validation. Activities will include instrument set-up, troubleshooting, sample preparation, halogen method development and analysis, method comparison, and method validation.&nbsp; Experience performing chemical analysis with combustion, halogenated analytes, and\/or ion-chromatography analysis is required. Experience in instrumental set-up, troubleshooting, and\/or method development is preferred.&nbsp; Experience with total fluorine or PFAS analysis is a positive.
