The candidate should possess a Ph.D. or ABD in<br>Chemistry or Biochemistry. The successful candidate will have primary teaching<br>responsibility in lower level chemistry courses and secondary teaching responsibility in<br>the candidate\u2019s field of expertise. Teaching experience at a university level is a plus.<br>Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. The position includes<br>competitive benefits.<br>Key Responsibilities: The primary responsibility will be teaching but depending on the<br>candidate\u2019s qualification collaborative research activities can be part of the responsibility.<br>For this position, the teaching responsibilities will include lower level chemistry courses<br>and\/or courses in the candidate\u2019s field of expertise, including laboratory courses. The<br>position can be renewed up to 3 years.<br>Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. or ABD in Chemistry or Biochemistry<br>Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience at a university level<br>Please submit the following documents with your application (ISU HR site):<br>CV, Cover Letter, Teaching Philosophy Statement, and unofficial undergraduate and<br>graduate transcripts (official transcripts will be required from the successful applicant).<br>Additionally, please arrange for three (3) letters of recommendation to be emailed<br>directly to the Department of Chemistry at chem@isu.edu.<br>Priority consideration will be given to complete applications received by July 17, 2022.<br>However, the position will remain open until filled. Compensation will be commensurate<br>with education and experience, and will include a competitive benefits package.
