Cost to participate is $5 for students\/alums and $10 for faculty\/staff. Household members can join for free!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>It\u2019s more than just walking\u2026.. the Walktober challenge can work with your current fitness plan. Your Rec Sports classes, IM Sports teams, Faculty Staff Fitness classes, PAC classes or other workouts all fit into Walktober. Simply log any activity in the web tracker or mobile app each day and it will convert any exercise into steps, so all your activity counts!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Our goal is for each participant to walk at least 6,000 steps a day in October. Join and create a team of 4-10 people or fly solo. Either way, this challenge will help you feel healthier and more connected.
