Five positions here in Corvallis\/Newport and over a hundred positions across the Office of Research and Development within EPA. Happy to discuss but whatever you can do to alert potential candidates is much appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>Two post-docs (one in Corvallis and one in Newport)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cfpub.epa.gov\/ordpd\/PostDoc_Position.cfm?pos_id=1112\">https:\/\/cfpub.epa.gov\/ordpd\/PostDoc_Position.cfm?pos_id=1112<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/cfpub.epa.gov\/ordpd\/PostDoc_Position.cfm?pos_id=1106\">https:\/\/cfpub.epa.gov\/ordpd\/PostDoc_Position.cfm?pos_id=1106<\/a><br \/>\nBeyond what\u2019s going on in Oregon, EPA is hiring a total of 70 (!!) post-docs<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cfpub.epa.gov\/ordpd\/PostDoc_SearchResults.cfm\">https:\/\/cfpub.epa.gov\/ordpd\/PostDoc_SearchResults.cfm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition, we have three Recent Graduate Pathways positions posting soon (probably by the end of the month at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/usajobs.gov\/\">usajobs.gov<\/a>). There will be an additional 30-40 of these positions across Office of Research and Development within EPA.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administrative Officer \u2013 starts at GS-07 &#8211; Minimum bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Analytical Chemist &#8211; starts at GS-11 &#8211; Minimum master\u2019s degree, prefer PhD<\/li>\n<li>Statistician \u2013 starts at GS-11 &#8211; Minimum master\u2019s degree, prefer PhD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These positions are potentially convertible to permanent federal employees after a year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are hiring!
