We are looking forward to another great year of supporting the coordinated resources offered and help facilitate everyone&#8217;s experience.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"e2ma-style\">The first opportunity of the year is the <b>College of Science + Honors College\u00a0Research Mixer <\/b>&#8211; Tuesday, Octobe<\/span><span class=\"e2ma-style\">r 23 from 3 &#8211; 5 p.m. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/0x5m3\/cvvynf\/8byoho\">Honors College<\/a>students are eager to learn about the work that you and your colleagues are invested in, as well as possibly partnering with you for their thesis work.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"e2ma-style\">We would love to have facuty participate from each of our departments. Each presenting faculty brings a slide to present their work, and gives their best one-minute pitch. After the presentations, students and faculty have the opportunity to mingle and pursue deeper conversations.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"e2ma-style\">Should you want to broaden your scope of students, please consider participating in the <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/0x5m3\/cvvynf\/o4yoho\"><b>URSA Engage<\/b><\/a> program hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/0x5m3\/cvvynf\/4wzoho\">Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, &amp; The Arts<\/a> office. This program is designed to help students begin research and develop their skills early in their college career. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/0x5m3\/cvvynf\/kp0oho\">Faculty mentor applications<\/a> are due October 22nd.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"e2ma-style\">In February, the College of Science will open applications for the <a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/0x5m3\/cvvynf\/0h1oho\"><b>Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE)<\/b><\/a> program. College of Science students will get prepped on how to pursue this opportunity to do research full-time over the summer here at OSU.
