A GSSPC comprised of 6-8 students is selected for each national ACS meeting and tasked with generating a unique symposium theme and organizing the entire event, including fundraising, speaker recruitment, and logistical arrangements.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In order to apply, please email your application packet to <u><a href=\"mailto:fall17gsspc@vt.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fall17gsspc@vt.edu<\/a><\/u> by <b><u>Thursday, June 1st<\/u><\/b>. Required application items include:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>1. A one-page mission statement<\/div>\n<div>2. Two proposed symposia themes, each with a list and brief bio of 8-12 proposed speakers<\/div>\n<div>3.
