When Dr. Chris Pastorek walked into the College of Science orientation and announced \u201cAll chem majors come\u00a0with me,\u201d he felt a spontaneous desire to follow her and has never looked back. \u00a0 His favorite instructor is Emile Firpo due to his\u00a0incredible generosity. \u00a0His interest in organic chemistry was sparked during the CH 334\/335\/336 series and he considers doing\u00a0research with organic chemistry professor Paul Blakemore his best experience at OSU. \u00a0His favorite course was CH 435\u00a0Spectroscopy with Chris Beaudry. \u00a0After graduation, he intended to go to grad school to obtain a PhD in Chemistry and hopes to\u00a0be a university professor one day.
