In addition it supports the advancement of Health Equity and Health-In-All-Actions approaches across the entire Heath Department and in collaboration  with other County departments and a wide range of community partner organizations. This position will  work to develop and disseminate forward-looking solutions to current and emerging health challenges  while engaging multi-functional, cross-department teams. It works with internal and external partners<br> to identify and address health risks and evidence-based prevention practices, public policy, systems  integration, and support an infrastructure for advanced statistics and data analytics, health related  applications and technology, data-driven decision making, and production of population health plans  and reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SALARY: $5,999.58 &#8211; $8,999.33 Monthly<br>\n$71,995.00 &#8211; $107,992.00 Annually<br>\nOPENING DATE: 01\/28\/20<br>\nCLOSING DATE: Continuous<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br> Essential Duties:<br> Program Development<br> \u2022 Support the advancement of the core foundational Public Health Services across all Health<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Department Divisions.<br> \u2022 Develop and implement new and future-leaning solutions for current and emerging challenges  and lead multi-functional, cross-departmental teams<br> \u2022 Develop, test, organize and encourage health and quality of life best practices, public policy,  systems integration, and support an infrastructure for advanced statistics and data analytics,  health related applications and technology, data-driven decision making, policy development, and<br> population health planning\/reports by working with internal and external partners, including  municipalities, regional health care systems, education sectors, social service organizations and business communities.<br>  \u2022 Foster a culture of equity and engagement as outlined in the Benton County&#8217;s 2040 Thriving Communities Initiative and the Benton County Community Health Improvement Plan.<br> \u2022 Manage the development, design, publication and dissemination of regional, state and national  epidemiology reports, assessments, white papers, policy positions, abstracts and conference  submissions to raise the awareness, value and economic impact of population health and human<br> services.<br> \u2022 Represent the Health Department on a variety of State, County and Community committees and  work group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br> Program Management<br> \u2022 Evaluate program deliverables and outcomes. Manage day to day activities of the program.  Prepare reports on achievements and activities as required.<br> \u2022 Monitor revenues and expenditures to assure compliance with budgetary goals. Make  recommendations and implement strategies to support positive financial performance and  develop program budgets.<br> \u2022 Supervise staff and supervisors. Includes prioritizing and assigning work, conducting  performance evaluations, ensuring staff are trained, ensuring that employees follow policy and  procedures, maintaining a healthy and safe work environment and making hiring, termination  and disciplinary decisions.<br> \u2022 Coordinate training opportunities, provides coaching and mentoring, and provide technical and  professional assistance to staff.<br> \u2022 Ensure ethical data practice and confidentiality is maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br> Internal Policy and Procedure Implementation<br> \u2022 Develop and implement policies and procedures to assure efficient and professional delivery of  services.<br> \u2022 Ensure compliance with department and county policies, state and federal rules,  certification\/compliance requirements, and funding requirements. Provide reports demonstrating  compliance as required.<br> \u2022 Advise senior leadership on emerging issues, policies and strategies relevant to assigned program  area.  And other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br> The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:<br> \u2022 Bachelor&#8217;s degree from an accredited college or university in Health Information Technology, Public Health, Health Administration, Health Communications or a field of study directly related to  the responsibilities of the position.<br> \u2022 5 years of relevant work experience including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br> Preferred Qualifications:<br> \u2022 Master&#8217;s degree from an accredited college or university in Health Information Technology, Public  Health, Health Administration, Health Communications or a field of study directly related to the  responsibilities of the position.<br> \u2022 Experience in advanced statistics and data analytics; Local and or state policy development;  leading and supervising teams.
