All applicants should have core expertise in the areas of research methodology and epidemiology. The successful applicant should have clear evidence of being able to work with others in research design and be able to help analyze both quantitative and qualitative data.\u00a0 Other skills would be the ability to apply epidemiological tools to specific areas such as veterinary medicine or environmental and occupational determinants of health. Primary responsibilities for this position includes teaching graduate courses; providing statistical support to faculty both within the department and throughout the university; and advising and mentoring graduate students on their research projects.<\/p>\n<p>Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated the ability to access external funding for independent and\/or collaborative research programs, especially those that could advance\/collaborate with existing departmental research programs. The applicant should have a strong record of publications and external research funding commensurate with rank. \u00a0As the only CEPH accredited MPH program in the Caribbean region, the successful candidate will be expected to find and nurture opportunities for collaborations throughout the Caribbean region and to be able to work in and many disciplines and community partners.<\/p>\n<p>The DPHPM at St. George\u2019s University is located in the English-speaking island state of Grenada, a pristine and beautiful Caribbean country. Salary and rank will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
