Applications from individuals with interests and expertise in all areas of environmental health sciences will be considered.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The Department of Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Michigan is engaged in a broad range of research in environmental and occupational exposure science, toxicology, environmental\/atmospheric chemistry, microbiology, epidemiology, and global health.<br> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Areas of research interest include exposure science, broadly defined and applied to chemicals encountered in occupational or environmental settings; methodologies for characterizing risks to emerging chemical hazards, particularly among vulnerable populations; innovative technologies for assessing simultaneous exposures to multiple agents and consequent biological impacts; data science; and \u201comics\u201d approache relating chronic human diseases to endogenous and exogenous factors via analyses of biomarkers and mechanistic pathways.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Areas of teaching interest include lecture and\/or laboratory courses in occupational health or any of the other research interest areas listed above.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We seek outstanding candidates who show promise of excellence, originality and productivity in research; dedication to graduate and undergraduate teaching and mentorship; and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through their teaching, research and service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS<br> Click \u201cApply Now\u201d at http:\/\/careers.umich.edu\/job_detail\/179230\/asst_professor, and upload a single PDF file.
