Preferred &#8211; Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Environmental Health &amp; Safety or Physical Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Shift:&nbsp;<\/strong>Day<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Travel:&nbsp;<\/strong>Yes &#8211; 50% Routinely, up to 90% of the time over short durations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This position is for an entry-level or experienced professional with minimum of 1-3 years related experience. This can include asbestos, lead, mold, industrial hygiene, construction project management and\/or safety related duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Manage microbial remediation projects, abatement oversight and monitoring for clients throughout the United States.<\/li><li>Perform hazardous building material assessments and inspections.<\/li><li>Evaluate compliance with regulatory agencies including, but not limited to OSHA and US EPA.<\/li><li>Perform industrial hygiene and safety\/health audits at client locations of varying industries including commercial, industrial, municipal and residential.<\/li><li>Evaluate safety and health conditions and provide guidance on corrective actions and control measures.<\/li><li>Generate technical reports.<\/li><li>Recognize, assess, evaluate and measure chemical and physical hazards at client work sites.<\/li><li>Conduct site safety audits for regulatory compliance.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Excellent written, oral, verbal and interpersonal skills.<\/li><li>Professional certifications or ability to obtain in the future.<\/li><li>Knowledge of OSHA General Industry and Construction standards<\/li><li>Ability to travel on a regular basis, up to 90%, throughout Oregon and United States.<\/li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs and pass annual medical and respirator fit test exams.<\/li><li>Willingness to learn and work in fast pace, high pressure environments.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Job Type: Full-time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Safety &amp; Health Technician: 1 year (Preferred)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Education:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Associate (Preferred)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Work authorization:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>United States (Required)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Required travel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>50% (Preferred)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pay Frequency:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bi weekly or Twice monthly<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>See post on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indeed.com\/jobs?q=occupational%20safety%20and%20health&amp;l=Oregon&amp;radius=50&amp;advn=3172171015000076&amp;vjk=d09fcfcc827c1cdf\">Indeed.com<\/a> to apply.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This position is for an entry-level or experienced professional with minimum of 1-3 years related experience.
