Application Closes: not posted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Position Description<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The group you\u2019ll be a part of<\/strong>: The Environmental Intern will report to the Global Environmental Director within the Global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team at Lam Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The impact you\u2019ll make:<\/strong> The Environmental Intern will support both the Global EHS team and the Tualatin site EHS team by contributing to key environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. This role is ideal for a student pursuing an environmental, chemical, or engineering-related degree who is interested in environmental compliance, sustainability data management, and hands-on fieldwork in an advanced manufacturing or research and development environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The intern will assist with migrating site-specific EHS documents to the central document control system, helping global sites implement air emission inventory and stormwater site compliance evaluation in accordance with the global EHS technical standards, managing Safety Data Sheets in our SDS repository, and performing gap assessments of corporate and\/or site programs. This position provides a valuable opportunity to gain experience across multiple environmental programs and regulatory frameworks.<br>What you\u2019ll do<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Global Environmental Support<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-syntaxhighlighter-code \"><pre class=\"brush: plain; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">\nAssist global sites with air emissions inventory and stormwater site compliance evaluations.\nSupport global sites with industrial wastewater sampling plans.\nTrack findings from internal compliance audit.\n<\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Environmental Program Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-syntaxhighlighter-code \"><pre class=\"brush: plain; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">\nManage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the repository system. \nConduct gap assessments of corporate environmental programs.\n<\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Site Environmental Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-syntaxhighlighter-code \"><pre class=\"brush: plain; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">\nConduct inspections and observations related to:\n    Stormwater program\n    Onsite pretreatment systems\n    Chemical and hazardous waste storage areas.\n<\/pre><\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Who we\u2019re looking for<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-syntaxhighlighter-code \"><pre class=\"brush: plain; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">\nBachelor-level student in Environmental Science, Engineering, or relevant field\nStrong analytical skills.
