Application Closes: November 21, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tillamook County Health Department is seeking a Masters-level or Bachelors-level intern to support the Tillamook County Health Department\u2019s health coalition, Tillamook County Wellness.&nbsp; This position will partner with the Environmental Health and Emergency Preparedness committee in addressing 3 priority areas of work: indoor air quality, disaster and evacuation readiness, and extreme weather events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The committee will be working on these priority areas over the next 2 years starting in January.&nbsp; January 2026 through June 2026 will primarily be focused on building resources in all three priority areas that can be utilized for public education and incorporation into public health programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate will help in the searching for and development of materials such as flyers, social media, and website content in the 3 priority areas.&nbsp; &nbsp;This person may also attend virtual community meetings and other applicable educational opportunities as it relates to this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The timeframe for this work is January 2026-June 2026.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work will be completed remotely with regular scheduled check-ins via the Teams meeting platform with the Public Health Deputy Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A successful candidate will be proficient in the following skills\/abilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Online research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good writing and analytical skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Canva or graphic design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Spanish is beneficial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit a resume and cover letter describing your interest in participating in this project.&nbsp; Send resumes and cover letters to <a href=\"mailto:rockie.phillips@tillamookcounty.gov\">rockie.phillips@tillamookcounty.gov<\/a>.&nbsp; Deadline for submission is 11\/21\/25, application will be reviewed as they\u2019re received.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have questions about this internship, please reach out to Rockie Phillips, RN Public Health Deputy Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rochelle (Rockie) Phillips, RN, BSN<\/strong> | <strong>Public Health Deputy Director<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TILLAMOOK COUNTY<\/strong>&nbsp; |&nbsp; Public Health<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2111 8<sup>th<\/sup> St., Tillamook, OR 97141<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Phone\u00a0(503) 842-3931 | <a href=\"mailto:Rockie.Phillips@tillamookcounty.gov\">Rockie.Phillips@tillamookcounty.gov<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Unpaid position.
