Find your future with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Boeing Company is currently seeking an <strong>Associate Safety Specialist<\/strong> to join the team in <strong>Renton, WA<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 737 Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team is looking for a Safety Specialist to provide support for the 737-production system.&nbsp;As part of the EHS team you will support health and safety initiatives, projects and compliance, providing influence and decision making throughout the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supports the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drafts health and safety programs that provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investigates safety and health incidents and complaints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills\/Experience):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills\/Experience):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project Management experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Drug Free Workplace:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Shift:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This position is for 2nd shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pay &amp; Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
