Application Closes:  until filled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"jobDescriptionHeading\">Job Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EHS Coordinator partners with the site&#8217;s EHS Manager to drive safety initiatives and culture at the Vancouver site. Schedule will be Tuesday &#8211; Saturday, 6:00am &#8211; 2:30pm with expected OT of normally no more than 5 hours a week but occasionally up to 15-20 hours.<strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure compliance to PepsiCo Global Environmental Health &amp; Safety Standards (GEHSMS):\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist in providing leadership for the implementation, enforcement and continuous improvement of the Sites environmental, health and safety policies and processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support Safety\/Environmental programs owners and coordinate quarterly program reviews<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate Safety\/Environmental audits &amp; assessments to achieve a Best In Class status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support Internal Safety and Environmental Agenda\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct EHS Investigations for accident, incident and near-miss investigations, and provide recommendations for process, procedure or equipment changes to eliminate future occurrences. Ensure completion to over 95% of on-time investigations and reporting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure over 95% completion of all authorized and GA trainings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform and lead monthly inspections of the facility<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct daily walks of the site<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform job hazard and job safety analyses, citing specific hazards and methods for remediation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain the sites risk register based upon the results of the job hazard assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help develop and participate in the site Safety Committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage and develop team members in EHS programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide training support for current employees and new hire onboarding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with task execution for designated programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in developing the sites business plan to continually improve EHS at the Site<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate internally and externally\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance to Frito Lay EHS standards and coordinate applicable inspections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comply with all OSHA, EPA, and other related regulatory requirements for documentation and reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Compensation and Benefits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,000 &#8211; $71,800.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paid time off in accordance with policy is subject to eligibility and includes vacation, holiday, sick, bereavement and parental leave.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vacation: for eligible full-time employees, a minimum of 15 paid vacation days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holidays: for eligible full-time employees, the company provides 10 paid holidays annually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sick Leave: for eligible full- time employees, 10 days (80 hours) of paid sick leave benefits are available for absences related to non-job-related injury.
