Application Closes:  June 20th, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spring 2026 Program Dates: <\/strong>\u00a0Approximately January 2026 \u2013 April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Universal Destinations &amp; Experiences Internship Program, Job Description and Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>JOB SUMMARY<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The EHS Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals to gain valuable knowledge, skills, and networking opportunities associated with Industrial Hygiene (IH) and Health &amp; Safety. In this position, our EHS Intern will learn the overall industrial hygiene and safety program management process for Universal Orlando Resort, learn the IH and safety strategy that takes place within a large organization, and be exposed to systems and programs within the Industrial Hygiene and overall Health &amp; Safety field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collects Industrial Hygiene (IH) data and prepares data for analysis and review. Data types may include: Noise monitoring, Indoor Air Quality Assessments, Ventilation Assessments, and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assists with analysis of collected IH data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compiles exposure assessments for review.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participates in Team Meetings and assists with special projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attends meetings with stakeholders and various levels of leadership prior to and during data collection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gains exposure to other areas within EHS via shadows, meet &amp; greets, departmental partnerships to learn about divisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducts safety risk and PPE assessments and perform field observations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participates in EHS Committee meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health &amp; Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performs other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A transcript is required upon application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS &amp; KNOWLEDGE:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Preferred majors include: Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health &amp; Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental and Occupational Health\/Hygiene, or Health, Safety, and Environment, or similar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with industrial hygiene equipment and\/or industrial hygiene data management systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable.
