In this role, you will serve as the point of contact for all SEPA related questions for Dept. of Ecology\u2019s Eastern Region Office. You will review project submittals to the SEPA register for completeness, coordinate comment periods for internal staff, and make sure comments are delivered to the lead agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"isPasted\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure submissions to the SEPA Register are complete and entered into the database accurately.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure SEPA documents are appropriately screened by Ecology staff for environment impacts.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide guidance and interpretation of the SEPA policy and environmental technical assistance as part of a statewide team to the public, internal staff and in coordination with the internal or external lead agency; and\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate Ecology environmental program comments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide consistent and timely technical assistance through SEPA Help resource mailbox for whole state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the statewide SEPA team with internal and external trainings on updated rules and policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This position offers an in-training plan and may be filled at the Environmental Planner 1, or 2 level, depending on your qualifications.
