As part of the Lamb Weston University Recruiting Internship Program, Interns work towards completing a Capstone project and are assigned a mentor who will guide and evaluate performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you are interested in Agricultural Science, Data Science, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Manufacturing, Food Science, Marketing, or Engineering, our highly selective summer intern program has projects that will help you build the next stage in your career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; 12-week paid internship, May \u2013 August (actual dates may vary)<br>&#8211; Gain real-world working experience through dynamic projects assigned by your mentor and assigned department<br>&#8211; Network and learn from executives, department leaders, high performers, and fellow interns across the business<br>&#8211; Receive guidance and feedback from your assigned mentor throughout the program<br>&#8211; Professional development events providing tools that will help after the internship and after graduation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Support the Lamb Weston Environmental, Health, and Safety department with a focus on safety in our manufacturing facilities. Interns will be responsible for several projects. For each project, the intern will be assigned a &#8220;mentor&#8221; to work with side-by-side to complete the project. Each assignment will require a written report from the intern as well as documented assessment\/review by the\u202fEnvironmental, Health, and Safety professional assigned as a mentor.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aspects of the internship may include but at not limited to:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct an ergonomic assessment, machine safety assessment, or walking working surface assessment using the\u202fLamb Weston assessment tools in conjunction with the onsite leadership team&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilize the hierarchy of controls to implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) as needed based on assessments.
