I have been researching where are viable sites to source amateur radio satellite information from, including uplink and downlink information provided by resources such as <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.n2yo.com\/satellites\/?c=18\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.n2yo.com\/satellites\/?c=18\" target=\"_blank\">N2YO<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also discovered\u00a0that I can check the status and communication frequencies of all active amateur radio satellites on the following sites:\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dk3wn.info\/p\/?page_id=29535\" target=\"_blank\">DK3WN<\/a>,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ne.jp\/asahi\/hamradio\/je9pel\/satslist.htm\" target=\"_blank\">JE9PEL<\/a>! Next step, determining where I can cull this information \/ bring it into an app&#8230; for example, via an API, or other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some satellites I think I will want to feature in the app are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>BDSAT<\/strong><ul><li><strong>Uplink<\/strong>\u00a0(MHz):\u00a0<\/li><li><strong>Downlink<\/strong>\u00a0(MHz): 145.850\/436.025\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>ALFACRUX<\/strong><ul><li>Uplink (MHz): 437.225<\/li><li>Downlink (MHz): 437.100\/437.225<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While this remains an ongoing (small black hole) of research, I look forward to discovering how to pull all the pieces together in the coming weeks&#8230; onwards and upwards!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As a part of my ongoing capstone project &#8220;Satellite Tracker&#8221; (e.g. an Amateur radio satellite tracking project which will potentially use ARKit), this week I spent a lot of time on the following items: Creating my project plan Thinking about early app workflows Researching&#8230;satellite data!
