What type of manager I want to be?

As a manager I would want to have my employees feel wanted, welcomed, have job security, and benefited, not only financially but mentally. I wouldn’t want workers that just settle for working the same position but to strive for more and I’d help provide resources to improve professional careers. Input from all employees would be welcomed to make a more enjoyable and effective work environment. This goes without saying a positive work culture would be the norm with no sense of bias.

Challenges of Being a Manager

Balancing employee needs with organizational goals would be the most difficult while being productive and look out for employees well being. Communication is a important skill to master as a manager due to how you are able to reach people, motivate them, and help them. This can be difficult by itself but diversity can make this more difficult. With so many different people from all backgrounds this can prove to be a challenge. With certain practices and help from others you can make a plan with input from employees to better improve the organization and overall happiness.
