My most recent experience in a job application process happened in early march. I applied to be a travel based brand and culture development representative for the current company I’m working for. The process was unique. I first applied online through the company’s website using their online application portal. After my application was received and reviewed, a series of peer reviews were sent out to be filled out by every peer I worked with. In this case, my existing experience with the company marked almost five years. I had several peer reviews sent back in and I then received a notification for an interview via zoom. I then was able to go back into online application portal to schedule a time to meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The interview was informal, I met with two recruiters and answered a series of questions related to my experience. What I enjoyed most about the interview, was the upbeat energy. I felt comfortable and confident the entire time. I was asked a series of questions that were based on potential situations that could arise on the job. During this time, I directly applied my skills and areas of performance where I shine to answer their questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One thing I will note, I knew one of the recruiters personally. This made the process seamless because I had established a network. After the interview, I got a call a few days later and accepted the position. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
