I took the three quizzes, and I learned a lot about myself and stress!

For the first quiz, which was Life Stress Inventory, I scored a 134. This means that I have relatively low stress in my life. This is not surprising to me, as I usually only get stressed about school. The rest of my life is usually pretty calm, but I know that could change at any minute.

For the second quiz, Coping & Stress Management Skills Test, I scored a 55. This means that I could use some better coping techniques when it comes to managing my stress. I also agree with this. When things get hard, I tend to pull away from people in my life, and I would love to learn how to manage my stress better so this does not happen.

For the final quiz, the Type A Personality Test, I scored a 25. This means that even though most of my interactions with others are warm and nice, some are embedded with impatience. I also agree with this, I know I can be impatient sometimes, but I realize that this is my issue, and not those around me, so I keep it to myself.

I have learned that while I am usually a happy person, I can work on managing my stress within my life and also work on my patience. Something I have noticed that companies are doing for their employees is creating a more flexible working environment. This ensures employees are getting the rest they need. I have also seen companies creating different work environments within their building. This includes quiet rooms, cafes, and study pods. This is a way that employees can get off their feet and move to a different area, and this helps with distractions and stress. I have also seen some companies giving people standing desks.

These are all situations that could help me in the future, but until then, I will continue to learn how to manage stress and improve patience before I enter the working world.

For this week’s blog post, I chose the option to talk about health and safety.
