I researched a diversity and inclusion consultant the average pay I found for these workers was about $76,000. This pay can fluctuant based off of experience and who you are working with. Based off of my own background and experience, I would probably intern with a man I know who is already working with a consulting firm to gain experience. His clients are actually fairly high profile so when I begin I may not be making as much but I have room to grow and make more money as time progresses. Based off of this information and the qualifications necessary I would probably go into a negotiation deal asking for on the higher end of $75,000 to begin with. This is because I will have a graduate degree as well as completed two internship programs, and have a large amount of prior experience. I think this would be a very reasonable ask. The unique thing about this career is that it can be as intense or casual as you want it to be based off of how hard you seek out clients and how well you are known- similar to real estate.
