Technology  February 15th, 2016

The technology Betty Holberton worked with was seen as completely ahead of her time. When they finished working on the computer Betty continued to work for the National Bureau of Standards. When she started working there she became the Chief of the Programming Research Branch. When she started working there she was able to finally make another lasting impression on the technology world. One of her final contributions to society is that she designed the control panel that finally put the number keypad next to the alphabet on a keyboard. Even though it seemed like she was done, she was able to still help make the technology field in many ways! By continuing to work alongside the ENIAC she was able to create the directions for the C-10 instruction set for the way modern computers use to detect different languages.
