I believe my brand as a potential employee is outgoing personable and hardworking. I am a social butterfly and have no problem making connections and this has helped me in job searches. I really listen and create meaningful conversations with people and be personable. I would say one of the strengths that I present is that I really do come ready to work and get started. If I make a connection and get steps to apply for a job or start the process I will do them immediately. I will fill out the survey, take the quiz, and provide references as soon as I can. My weakness is that although I am very social and can talk to people I am a terrible interviewer. I get so nervous and forget to mention every good thing about myself as a candidate.
I really do enjoy working and have a hard time when I do not have work to do. So, if I found myself in the position to create a situation wanted ad in a creative way, I would start by titling it “Yearning for work”. I think that a lot of people “need work” or “won’t work” but thinking setting myself apart to show that I actually want this work to feel fulfilled would help me stand out. I also would put all of the jobs I have had and the jobs that were expected of me there that, such as things I would include on my resume. However, in this situation wanted ad I would also include all of the extra tasks I did that were not in the job descriptions that I took on because I ran out of work or saw that they needed to be done and no one else was doing them. I would also make sure to include that I am a really fun and agreeable person so I would add to any work environment. I would also add that I have been promoted in every role that I have had before, and within weeks at some. This would help tell people that I am not only a hard worker but tend to be good at the work that I do and have what it takes to learn, practice, and get skills down to be able to move up in the company in the several different industries that I have worked in.
