Conley<\/a>, Jr., professor of electrical and computer engineering, was appointed <a href=\"https:\/\/eds.ieee.org\/publications\/transactions-on-electron-devices\/editor-in-chief-and-editors\">associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices<\/a>, the flagship journal of the IEEE Electron Devices Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/osu-wams-blogs-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/blogs.dir\/1921\/files\/2020\/05\/conley-photo-crop.jpg\" alt=\"Photo fo John F. Conley achieves another milestone.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Conley is also an IEEE Fellow and was elected a 2019 Fellow of the American Vacuum Society. In other recent achievements, he nearly made it to the top of Marys Peak on his road bike starting from his house in Corvallis, but got turned around by snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am excited about my new role as associate editor which will be continuing my long service to IEEE that began in graduate school as a reviewer for Transactions on Nuclear Science,\u201d Conley said. \u201cI view associate editorship as an honor as well as an obligation.
