{"id":8736,"date":"2016-01-05T08:00:35","date_gmt":"2016-01-05T16:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/ecologue\/?p=8736"},"modified":"2015-12-31T16:49:09","modified_gmt":"2016-01-01T00:49:09","slug":"new-osused-store-hours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/ecologue\/2016\/01\/05\/new-osused-store-hours\/","title":{"rendered":"New OSUsed Store hours!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8739\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/ecologue\/files\/2015\/12\/OSUsed-hours-Ecologue.jpg\" alt=\"New OSUsed Store hours\" width=\"418\" height=\"196\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/surplus.oregonstate.edu\/surplus\/public-sales\/osused-store\">OSUsed Store<\/a>, OSU&#8217;s on-campus thrift store, has changed its public sales hours to two days per week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 pm<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Fridays 12:00-3:00 pm<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u200bThis means extra times to shop, more evening times, and a schedule that does not change from week-to-week.<\/p>\n<p>With this change, the new hours for staff to shop for their OSU departments, local government agencies and nonprofits will be Monday \u2013 Thursday 8:00 am \u2013 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Available merchandise includes computers and computer accessories, furniture (desks, file cabinets, tables, chairs, bookcases, etc), office supplies, sporting goods, household items, bicycles and much more.<\/p>\n<p>The OSUsed Store is located at 644 SW 13th Street in Corvallis (<a title=\"View this address location on Google Maps\" href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=644+SW+13th+Street,+Corvallis,+OR+97333&amp;hl=en&amp;sll=44.531847,-123.26709&amp;sspn=0.093246,0.154324&amp;hnear=644+SW+13th+St,+Corvallis,+Benton,+Oregon+97333&amp;t=m&amp;z=15\" target=\"_blank\">view on Google Maps<\/a>). The store is operated by <a title=\"Surplus Property website\" href=\"http:\/\/fa.oregonstate.edu\/surplus\" target=\"_blank\">OSU Surplus Property<\/a> and sells surplus equipment and material to departments on campus as well as members of the public during special public sales, in an effort to reduce landfill waste and keep money in the university.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/calendar.oregonstate.edu\/today+28\/surplus\/\">See our full calendar here<\/a>.
