The website will be used by more than 6,000 students and teachers in 16 high schools throughout the Pacific Northwest. Funding for the position is provided by an Environmental Education award from the Environ<span style=\"text-align: center\">mental Protection Agency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Energize Corvallis is a Program of the\u00a0Corvallis Environmental Center and is dedicated\u00a0to helping Corvallis become one of the most energy efficient, climate friendly communities in the United\u00a0States.<\/p>\n<p>Duties of this position include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborating with staff and volunteers to establish requirements for the website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing a system for over\u00a06,000 users that includes user registration and tracking, results capture and summarization, dashboards,\u00a0downloadable reports, real-time display of key metrics, among other features.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring that the system supports\u00a0multiple, geographically diverse schools; provides adequate performance to intended user\u00a0base; is scalable to increased usage beyond the initial 2-year Classrooms Take\u00a0Charge program; provides a\u00a0polished and professional user experience; and performs well\u00a0across\u00a0a wide\u00a0range of end-user devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Creating system documentation including a high-level system design and overview, database structure, description of program code and system files, and maintenance and support procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position is 15-20 hours per week with a salary range of $23-27\/hr depending on experience.
