{"id":4168,"date":"2013-12-19T07:00:28","date_gmt":"2013-12-19T14:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/sustainability\/blog\/?p=4168"},"modified":"2013-12-19T07:00:28","modified_gmt":"2013-12-19T14:00:28","slug":"nows-the-time-to-join-the-master-recycler-class-for-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/ecologue\/2013\/12\/19\/nows-the-time-to-join-the-master-recycler-class-for-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Now&#039;s the time to join the Master Recycler class for 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Spaces remain in the 2014 Linn and Benton Master Recycler class offered by <a href=\"http:\/\/recycle.oregonstate.edu\/\">OSU Campus Recycling<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.republicservices.com\/site\/corvallis-or\/en\/pages\/home.aspx\">Republic Services<\/a>, but act now to secure your spot!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>WHEN<\/strong><\/span>:<strong> <\/strong>Tuesdays, January 14th through March 4th, 6:15 pm \u2013 9:00 pm, plus Saturday morning field trips on Jan. 25 and Feb. 22<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>WHERE<\/strong><\/span>: Kearney Hall 305 (on the <a title=\"View on Campus Map\" href=\"http:\/\/oregonstate.edu\/campusmap\/?locations=759\">OSU Corvallis campus<\/a> at 14th and Campus Way)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>WHAT<\/strong><\/span>: This once-per-week, 8-week class will explore landfill science, recycling, waste reduction, reuse opportunities, composting, community sustainability, green building, hazardous waste and taking action. It is free to residents of Linn and Benton County who agree to \u201cpay back\u201d what they learned through 30 hours of volunteer service after completion of the course.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\"><strong>INFO &amp; REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/span>: Visit the <strong><a title=\"Master Recycler class webpage\" href=\"http:\/\/tiny.cc\/recycclass\" target=\"_blank\">Master Recyclers webpage<\/a><\/strong>.
