The deadline for application is Sunday, July 14th.<\/p>\n<p>Graduate Fellows will receive a modest grant in addition to the opportunity for leadership development, recognition within the ecology and sustainability world, <span style=\"text-align: center;background-color: #f3f3f3\">as well the benefit of working on one of four unique campaigns while focusing on their passion for the care and protection of the natural environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3368\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3368\" style=\"width: 190px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-3368\" title=\"Ohio-State-Yearbook-Photo-FINAL-jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/ecologue\/files\/2013\/06\/Ohio-State-Yearbook-Photo-FINAL-jpg1.jpg\" alt=\"Melissa Fries, a past fellow, concentrated on protecting vernal pools and increasing public awareness at Ohio State University\" width=\"190\" height=\"140\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3368\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Melissa Fries, a past fellow, concentrated on protecting vernal pools and increasing public awareness at Ohio State University.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #00ccff\">The Fellowships<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The four following diverse campaigns all cater to the fellow&#8217;s interest in confronting climate change on their campus and educating and empowering members of the community to do the same.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stopping the expansion of dirty energy<\/li>\n<li>Safeguarding wildlife and habitat in the Appalachian Forests<\/li>\n<li>Protecting wildlife in urban and suburban habitats<\/li>\n<li>Clean energy solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To read an in-depth description of each of the four programs, and apply for a fellowship visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nwf.org\/Campus-Ecology\/Get-Involved\/Apply-for-a-Fellowship.aspx\">Campus Ecology Fellowship webpage<\/a> to gain more information and application materials.<\/p>\n<p>To qualify for application for a fellowship with NWF, you must be a graduate student pursuing a career in sustainability, ecology, or a related field.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #00ccff\">Past Fellowships<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The National Wildlife Federation has been awarding Graduate students with Fellowships through the Campus Ecology program since 2000. Over 150 fellows from across the Country have made a unique impact on their campus.
